Autosmart expands operations to Waikato

Darren Craig is the new face of Autosmart in the Waikato.

Autosmart New Zealand (Autosmart) proudly announced the next phase of their growth with the opening of a new distribution site in Hamilton to service the fast growing Waikato region. The new site is situated at Unit 5, 26 Sheffield Street, Te Rapa right in the heart of Hamilton’s industrial estate.

Fronting the expanded operation is Darren Craig, a self-confessed car enthusiast. Darren is set to become a familiar face around the workshops, detailers, valets, dealerships and trucking companies as he introduces the wide range of quality cleaning and maintenance products to a welcoming audience.

“If you need the best cleaning products and tools, we will have them all,” says Darren who has a background in the automotive and truck parts supply industries spanning over 10 years.

Autosmart General Manager Chace Karpenko is enthusiastic about the move saying, “The expansion reflects continued growth and demand for our growing product range. Opening a Hamilton distribution site allows us to better support customers throughout Waikato with faster service, local expertise, and the same high standards Autosmart is known for.”

The Autosmart New Zealand franchise is headed up by Chace and Megan Karpenko - long term franchisees with Autosmart Australia. Having recognised the opportunity to represent the AutoSmart global family in a new market, the couple shifted to New Zealand and launched the brand in July 2023.
