Tauhei, near Morrinsville is home to livestock haulier Kintail Transport Ltd. No stranger to the Kenworth brand, owner Ken Walker recently splashed out for his first new Kenworth, an eight wheeler K220 with Aerodyne sleeper. The might new beast is driven by Antony “Tony” Rhind. As a younger man Tony started his driving career back in 1983 at Whitikahu Transport also carting livestock. Following a 25 year sabbatical dairy farming Tony recently returned to the driver’s seat to deliver stock North Island wide.

Dennis Brown started in business when the company he was working for was sold and with no offer of a job, Dennis took matters into his own hands and purchased a R Model Mack tipper and three-axle trailer.

Well respected operators, Raymond “Razor” and Kristy Bradshaw, R & K Bradshaw Logging Ltd, have taken delivery of a new Kenworth K220 to replace an earlier model K200.

For the past 15 years Wayne and wife Janine have grown their Kenworthy Transport Services fleet as a major contractor to refrigerated transport business Cooltranz in the South Island.
