Silent Assassin

Progressive Carriers from Helensville have recently put this stunning Kenworth K220 to carry on the legacy formed by an earlier K200. The new unit continues the long association between Progressive and prime contractor Ryal Bush Transport to haul livestock nationwide.

The new truck is the result of considerable input from both company owner Bruce Boyle and long-time driver Ben Grace. Ben reckons that after six years behind the wheel of the K200 and being away from home for weeks or months, a few luxuries were in order. “One night you are sweating in your bunk the next night you are freezing in another part of New Zealand,” he said so the Icepack ES unit which provides both warm and cool air into the sleeper is just the answer.

Resplendent Kenworth launch red the truck features a host of unique features such as a large pull-out table over the toolbox, hand wash tank inside the toolbox and the hidden cab tilt pump all custom built by Rick Leonard Engineering in Taupo.
